You CAN fire anyone you want, Palin! And no one will mind it much!

A neat little short from Whutnot on a serious issue that no one seems to care about. Whutnot writes:

“I am amazed that the fact that Sarah Palin abused her power as governer has not been a bigger deal. Nobody has really said much about it. I think that this really shows that she is not qualified to lead this country. She cannot be objective with her employees.”

I agree with you there! I was surprised that the final verdict of Troopergate (Source: Times Online UK), a state investigation into the unethical firing of an Alaskan state trooper by Sarah Palin, seems to have nary had an affect at all on Palin or her camp. Later, she said that it actually was a good result for her campaign as Vice President (Source: Washington Independent). The question is, how much more gross alterations of the truth can the American people take? McCain seems to be generally taking the high road in terms of trying to remain honest in a difficult time to do so, but Palin is probably the only candidate who boldly distorts the truth and says it in a way that people believe her. Time will tell how this will hurt or help her.

Whutnot also sent me this musical Palin remix which I will warn you right now is not very objective. But it IS pretty funny and very catchy…

Jeopardizing the Candidacy

Anything that might jeopardize her candidacy? I doubt it!

From whutnot again, here is a look at a few of the problems regarding Sarah Palin. From whutnot herself:

“What scares me about the McCain/Palin ticket is the lack of thorough investigation. It seems like McCain just chose Palin because she is a woman, and he didn’t really check into her background.
If it turns out that his camp actually did a proper vetting, then I have to question his judgment. Who would chose a governor of a sparsely populated State, that has no foreign policy experience, and is already under investigation for abuse of power? I really makes me wonder if McCain knows what he is doing.”

And now it looks like we won’t know much more about Palin (no interviews or even questions from the press!) or McCain (no debate this week!)… At least not until they can devise more ways of hiding up themselves and information regarding themselves.
